NavSight Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

The short version

NavSight is designed to work entirely on your device. It does not collect your personal information, does not require an account, does not track you, and does not send your data to us or to anyone else.

Camera

NavSight requires access to your camera. It analyzes the live camera view to recognize objects around you and highlight them in real time. This processing takes place on your device while you use the app. Camera images are not recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Information stored on your device

To preserve your preferences between sessions, NavSight saves certain information only locally on your device, including:

  • Your saved settings, such as which objects you care about and how you want them highlighted.
  • Basic app-usage information, such as how long and how often the app is used.
  • Your device model and name, and a random identifier generated on your device.

This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is removed when you delete the app.

Changes to this policy

If we change how NavSight handles information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
